man, Man, MAN! I’ve picked the winner for our “Bear Down 2.0 Fight Song Contest” and it’s off the chain!
Brian Covelli, of Brian Covelli Productions, produced a song that went HAM! (Yes, that’s H.A.M. It’s slang for “It went HAAAARD!”) I must’ve replayed it five times in my car, and the entire time I was bobbin’ my head. I loved, Loved, LOVED IT! I don’t see any reason why it couldn’t be an anthem for the Bears.
It’s actually kind of a coincidence that we had this contest when we did, because Brian - only a couple weeks earlier - had released the track to the public on this website, bncovelli.com. It went head-to-head with a lot of other bangin’ tracks, but, at the end of the day, his beats banged the hardest.
I send my thanks to everyone who participated in the contest -- I really appreciate it. I also want to give a HUGE shout-out to Rax Trax Recording Studios for donating studio time to our winner. With their donation they shot this contest to a whole ‘nother level of sweetness.
