Why Tonight's Game Against the Titans Is a BIG ONE

Ah, YES. We’ve got preseason game number three coming at us today in Music City, Nashville, TN, and it’s a BIG ONE!

Why is it a “big one?” Because we really want to get the win? No. It’s a “big one” because it’s yet another opportunity for us to practice hard and get better - nothing more, nothing less. It’s a preseason game against another NFL team where both sides will focus on improving themselves. If we win, great. If not, it ain’t no thing. Why? Because it’s preseason.

I’m sorry if that sounded like it had an edge to it, but there are a lot of football fans out there who place too much importance on preseason records. Obviously, any time they keep score we want to have more points than the other team. But, honestly, every preseason game is a “win” for both sides, because each team gets to experiment with untested strategies that you wouldn’t want to attempt for the first time in a regular season situation. That, right there, is why we “win” every preseason game. Would you rather us do our experimenting against the Falcons? Of course not.
